Scholarship Fund
The ICMA-RC Public Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund (ICMA-RC Memorial Scholarship Fund) was founded in 2001 to honor the lives of our nation's police officers, firefighters, and other local and state government employees who have made the ultimate sacrifice. In 2020, the ICMA-RC Memorial Scholarship Fund expanded its reach to include children and spouses of employees in the mission-adjacent education, health care, and not-for-profit industries. As a result of the profound impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on local and state governments, we hope to lessen the financial burdens associated with post-secondary education for students and families. Applications are accepted from Dec. 15-March 15. Visit www.icmarc.org/scholarship.
Easily Access Forms Online
Have a name change or a change to your contribution amount? You can easily access forms online within your account to make these types of updates. To obtain the forms, log into your account and locate your plan from the home page. Then select View Account from the drop-down menu.
Check Your Beneficiary Designations
Review and update your beneficiary designations after any major life changes to make sure your money will go to the people you want to inherit your accounts. Log into your account, then click on the Beneficiaries option on the drop-down menu next to the plan of your choice on the home page. Be sure to review and update your beneficiary designations for your 401, 457, and 403(b) accounts, and survivor designations for your VantageCare Retirement Health Savings account for qualified health-care expense reimbursements.
TextAccess
Sign up for ICMA-RC's TextAccess that allows you to request information such as your account balance, last contribution amount, rate of return, and more, and have it sent directly to your mobile phone via text. Sign up by logging into your account, then navigating to the TextAccess menu item under Overview.
